1. Learn to use butter cautiously

Butter is a grease commonly used in construction machinery and can be used for lubrication and sealing. But butter can't be used at will, and some people even put a layer of butter on the cylinder mat. This will be considered to increase the tightness of the diesel engine. As we all know, this will not only affect the working performance of the diesel engine, but also cause air leakage and carbon deposition in the cylinder head gasket. Therefore, do not apply butter when installing the cylinder head gasket.

2. The piston should not be placed on an open flame for heating.

When the repairman installs the piston, it heats the piston directly on the open flame. However, in this case, the parts of the piston are thin and uneven, and the degree of heat is also different. If you use an open flame, it is easy to deform the piston, and the piston may be contaminated by carbon ash in an open flame, thus shortening the service life of the piston.

3, the bearing is polished without gauze

For some novices, scraping technology is difficult to master. Some people use gauze instead of the scraper when changing the bearing bush. In order to increase the contact area between the bearing pad and the crankshaft, it is wrong to use gauze abrasive grains. Allow sand to be embedded in the alloy, which will reduce the life of the crankshaft!

4. Do not screw the bolt too tightly.

Many bolt components have torque requirements during the disassembly process. For example, cylinder heads, gearboxes, and connecting rods have set torques and must not be changed at will. If it is tightened too tightly, the bolt will break and cause a malfunction.
